HAND-CANNON (LOW POLY SCY FY PISTOL/SMG)

When making the hand-cannon I wanted to create a multipurpose, single handed and two handed pistol/sub-machine gun that was bulky, rugged and impractical.

I deliberately wanted it to look somewhat impractical to give the impression that the gun is a mass-produced "one-size-fits-all" hunk of junk that is handed out to a war-mongering army that's just *fighting to fight* and handing out recovered guns from fallen warriors to get sent through the ranks once again for more service; I liked the idea of having a gun that doesn't have any care or precision threaded into it's design but instead a box with a trigger and a magazine that's put in the hands of a knuckle-dragging brute who is promptly sent into the war-machine meat grinder over and over again!

I also wanted to reinforce that despite it's almost Orc'ish look that it's still a Scy-Fy weapon hence the use of a digital ammo counter on the rear, and whilst yes it's a little more complex than the initial design purpose it manages to still be utilized in that way; the ammo counter is a simple number to tell the user how much "shooty-shooty" is still possible and nothing more.

If I were to change anything I'd add a charging handle and extraction port, I omitted them due to this being a very, very low poly weapon equipped on soldiers in an RTS project but I think it would be a nice touch and could add extra personality by having a rough pull ratcheting charging handle on the side with a knobish end that would have a chain like nose as it's *yanked* back with great force :)
